“Our job is to keep people out of harm’s way and make sure they are aware of every hazard associated with every tropical system. “We legitimately care about people and their safety,” he said. Because more than anything, George is passionate about the people of Florida. George wants the public to know the staff at FPREN look deeply into the science of weather when making determinations about safety. After so many years of experience, George said he is ready to start passing that knowledge along to the next generation.
